I have had Sorel boots in the past and they have always been great quality but was looking for something lighter weight. These are fantastic. Super warm and lightweight. Lighter than my Uggs that are shorties. These run small. I'm ALWAYS a size 10 but they recommended the 11 since they run small. 11 was perfect. Comfortable with regular socks but still some room for heavier socks if needed. Inside is soft and much warmer than one would expect for the weight and thickness. Thumbs up on these boots!
