This was a replacement of the same exact coat that I lost. Fortunately, the price had dropped by $250 since I originally purchased. This is part of a five-layer system. I have all five parts. There is a vest, a very light-weight jacket, a polar fleece jacket, a medium-weight jacket & this rain coat. All the others are shorter that this - about waist length. This one is much longer to keep the rain off your butt. The fleece jacket has loops on the back behind the head and on outside of the sleeves near the cuff which can be connected to straps with snaps inside this jacket to keep to keep the two together and to keep the fleece sleeves from riding up when you put this coat on. It is a great system! I've had mine about four or five years. I also have the matching pants to go with this rain jacket. The pants feel a little light compared to the material of this rain jacket but have held up well.
