was very flimsy.Beautiful but not suitableHat sizes are hard to judge. "Large" has a variance, and with a hat it doesn't take much to be off: loose enough to blow off, tight enough to leave a mark I mean, would you buy a Large shoe? So, here, compared to my Henschel fedora (my first and perfect), this is a wee bit loose. But it's not so loose as to return.The hat itself I rather like, and so far would buy another. I especially like the color, having wanted a blue fedora since Foyle's War. And it has already gotten positive comments (yes, I am a peacock). And it has enough "crown" (or whatever) not to be forced too far up on my head : the sweatband part sits where I want it to.That said, 1. I think the fabric should be just a bit heavier : the 2.5" brim sags a little (Henschel = 2.25") ; I only hope the drooping will not get worse over time. 2. the ribbon has an unobtrusive "Bailey" on it, which I don't care for (like "Izod" on a shirt : why do I want to be a billboard?). 3. the ribbon is not sewn in quite the right places -- at 3:00 and 7:30 (12:00 being at the back) -- so it tends to ride up at the 5:00 position.Niggling details. It's worth the money (me = $45). Go for it.This style of brim and color is very cool. Surprised that more people haven’t found one of these to wear daily. Jazzes up anything and looks awesome with everything from t shirts to jackets. Colors are excellent as well.I wear a 7 1/8 so a large is my size. I purchased a medium which was a 7.Very Light weight hat! good for that gangster look!Hat fit right out of the box. This is a very soft hat but retains it’s shape well. I got the black and like it so much, that I ordered another in a different color.This Bailey hat has absolutely impeccable quality. Soft felt holds its shape nicely. Better than what I was expecting. The price was a fair bit better than what I was able to find elsewhere on the web.Gorgeous, soft, a lovely gray-brown, well made, and made in the USA.A Good purchaseDesign and material were excellent. The latter was especially soft. However it ran small compared to other bailey fedoras in my possession.Very good product!
