As I have indicated in reviews of other shoes made by Drew, I cannot be more pleased to have finally "discovered" a shoe that is comfortable to wear. Not only do I have psoriatic arthritis, but if my feet were any wider I would be a duck. That makes it difficult to find shoes that will fit--nevermind if they look good. What I especially dislike is being in shoes that look more like something worn by Micky Mouse. I don't know how they do it, but the three pair of Drew shoes I have purchased do not look like that. These shoes fit into that category. They are comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, and even though they are slip-ons, they are surprisingly comfortable to walk I. My "test" was having to walk recently from one end of the United Airlines terminal at O'Hare to the hotel pickup point about half a mile away....then stand around in them for about 15 minutes till the hotel's airport shuttle arrived. Suffice it to say, they passed with flying colors.I do have two caveats, and one complaint. Caveat #1 is that I have found from experience that these shoes are much more comfortable when combined with inserts made by Orthofeet, rather than the ones that come with the shoes. Having said that, let me stress that everybody is different, and what works for me may not be true for others. But, if you get these and find them to be less than you expected, then try my solution before you send them back with a bad review. Caveat #2 is that while the leather that they use seems to be good quality, getting a good polish on them can be difficult. What I have found is to use Lincoln polish, and the first time it is applied, do it by hand with a rag (instead of one of those little brushes) and use a lot of pressure to get the coat of polish into the pores of the leather--really push it in, then use a brush and polishing cloth to smooth it all out. (I learned that trick from a shoe-shine guy in the Minneapolis Airport) Once its embeded, then subsequent applications will bring out a real nice shine. My only complaint is that they don't make this style in brown. If they did, then I would order a pair in a heartbeat.
